Brené Brown, PhD, LMSW, is a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. An award-winning teacher and speaker, she is also the New York Times bestselling author of Rising Strong, The Gifts of Imperfection and I Thought It Was Just Me (but it isn’t). Her groundbreaking work has been featured widely in the media, including a PBS special.
